This initiative comes on the heels of Wiz launching a local data center in Korea, enabling businesses to meet data sovereignty and compliance requirements while enhancing the security of their cloud environments.

Wiz has established itself as an essential cloud security platform worldwide with its CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) approach. In particular, AI-SPM (AI Security Posture Management) enhances AI security by providing full-stack visibility into AI pipelines, detecting vulnerabilities, strengthening security configurations, mitigating attack pathways, and identifying shadow AI risks.

With the opening of the Korea-based data center, local enterprises can now leverage AI and cloud technologies in a more secure environment while adhering to stringent data protection regulations.

In conjunction with the launch, Cloocus is reinforcing its support system to help businesses seamlessly integrate Wiz’s security solutions. Leveraging its AI-driven cloud security expertise, Cloocus will offer tailored cloud security consulting services, identify vulnerabilities, and provide optimized security strategies. Additionally, a dedicated Wiz technical team will be in place to assist businesses in rapidly adopting and optimizing these solutions.

“The launch of Wiz’s Korea data center marks a significant milestone in strengthening cloud security for domestic enterprises. Cloocus is committed to working closely with Wiz to ensure that businesses can adopt AI and cloud technologies with enhanced security and confidence, accelerating their digital transformation journey.” – Steve Hong, CEO, Cloocus

“Our investment in this region is a signal to the Korean market and our customers that we are committed to making them successful,” said Dmitri Chen, Vice President & GM, Wiz APAC & Japan. “Partnering alongside domain experts like Cloocus is a force multiplier on that journey and we look forward to helping even more local customers securely accelerate their cloud journeys.”
