[Press] Cloocus Partners with AI SOC Platform Company Panther

“Supporting the Advancement of Cloud Security Operations and the Adoption of AI-Powered SOC Models”

May 26, 2026 – Cloocus, a cloud specialist focused on data and artificial intelligence(AI), today announced a strategic partnership with Panther, an AI SOC Platform company, to support Korean enterprises in advancing their cloud security operations through AI-powered SOC operating models.

The partnership is part of Cloocus’ broader roadmap to enhance its Security Center capabilities. Based on each customer’s cloud operating environment and security requirements, Cloocus is expanding its consulting-led security services by connecting customers with proven global security solutions and helping them address practical security operations challenges beyond simple solution deployment.

As Korean companies across gaming, platform, commerce, SaaS, and enterprise sectors continue to expand their use of cloud and digital services, security logs and events are increasing rapidly. However, prioritizing a growing volume of alerts, conducting repetitive first-level investigations, improving threat detection rules, and automating response processes still require significant expertise and time.

Panther is an AI SOC Platform that unifies the data pipeline, security data lake,  detection engine, and agents into a single, integrated solution. Built for the scale and complexity of modern cloud environments, Panther enables security teams to collect and analyze large volumes of cloud logs and security events with speed and precision. Agents automate the analyst workflows most critical to effective security operations including alert triage, threat investigation, and detection improvement.

A key differentiator of Panther is that it goes beyond simply accelerating alert processing. The platform feeds investigation results and learned insights back into the detection framework, continuously improving  SOC operations. This allows organizations to reduce the burden of repetitive alert analysis and investigation, while enabling security teams to focus on higher-value threat hunting and response. With Panther, analysts move from doing the work to guiding the work.

This partnership is expected to serve as an important foundation for Cloocus’ Security Center to evolve beyond basic monitoring and infrastructure security support into a specialized service organization focused on solving customers’ security operations challenges. Leveraging global security solution partnerships, including Panther, Cloocus plans to further strengthen its services in AI-powered SOC advancement, threat detection and response, and security operations automation.

Steve Hong, CEO of Cloocus, said, “As cloud environments become increasingly complex, the key to security operations is no longer limited to simple threat detection. It requires an AI-powered SOC framework in which detection, investigation, and response are organically connected.”

He added, “Cloocus is building an integrated framework to advance cloud security operations, and we have selected Panther as one of the key solutions that completes this framework.”

John McCarthy, CRO of Panther, said “We look forward to collaborating with Cloocus and continuing our growth in the APAC region. Their cloud and AI expertise combined with Panther’s AI SOC Platform creates a powerful foundation for helping APAC organizations modernize their security operations.”

Moving forward, Cloocus plans to strengthen its service competitiveness in cloud-native security, AI-powered SOC operations, and security automation for both domestic and global customers. Through its Security Center, Cloocus will continue to identify and integrate global security solutions that align with customers’ security maturity levels and cloud environments.
