By June 24, 2025 No Comments

On June 24, 2025, Cloocus (CEO Steve Hong, www.cloocus.com), a cloud specialist company focused on data and AI, hosted a networking session at its Seoul headquarters to explore collaboration opportunities in Malaysia’s public sector.

The event was designed to connect Korean companies specializing in AI-based solutions and technologies—including companies such as Namutech, Mobigen, Solomon Tech, Wisenut, Polaris Office, and Flitto—with potential business ventures in the Malaysian market.

Having established a stable local presence over the past three years in Malaysia, Cloocus expects AI and cloud business opportunities to further expand following the recent launch of Microsoft’s data center in Malaysia.

Cloocus’s joint venture partner in Malaysia, the Censof Group, currently holds approximately 30% market share in the local public sector, making it a strategically significant partner with high collaboration potential.

The session focused on key topics such as the digital economy and cloud/AI adoption in Malaysia, Cloocus’s local project cases, and public sector strategies of Censof Group and its subsidiary CS Cloud. The event attracted strong interest from Korean tech firms considering expansion into Southeast Asia.

CEO Steve Hong stated, “This session was organized to provide Korean companies with more effective market entry opportunities through partnerships with influential local players,” and added, “Cloocus will continue to strengthen synergies with domestic AI solution providers in the global market.”
