[Press] Cloocus – Kookmin University School of Business Sign MOU for Training Digital Business Talent

August 19, 2024 – Cloocus, a leading cloud consulting and management company specializing in data and AI (CEO Hong Sung-Wan, www.cloocus.com), announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the School of Business at Kookmin University (Dean Choi Byung-Koo) to foster talent suitable for the digital business environment.

Through this agreement, the two institutions have agreed to collaborate closely in various areas, including ▲the operation of international exchange programs, ▲the development of industry-academia cooperative education, and ▲support for internships and recruitment. Specifically, Cloocus will actively support the international exchange program jointly run by Kookmin University School of Business and Monash University Malaysia.

As a certified cloud partner who has won Microsoft Partner of the Year award for the third consecutive year, Cloocus will help students develop practical skills required in the digital business environment through education and mentoring utilizing the latest AI technologies, such as Microsoft Copilot. Kookmin University plans to design and operate these educational programs to expand opportunities for students to learn and apply Microsoft cloud solutions in real-world scenarios.

Hong Sung-Wan, CEO of Cloocus, stated, “This MOU will serve as a significant milestone in nurturing talent equipped with the skills needed in the digital business and cloud fields. Cloocus will do its utmost to support students to grow into future global business leaders through innovative educational programs in partnership with Kookmin University.”

Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to provide students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the digital business field, supporting them to thrive in the global market after graduation. This collaboration is expected to present a new industry-academic cooperation model in which education and industry converge, along with cultivating human resources needed in the era of digital transformation.
