[Press] Cloocus Helps Hyundai Motor Group Strengthen Cloud Security Visibility with Wiz

February 2, 2026 – Cloocus (CEO : Steve Hong, www.cloocus.com), a cloud service provider specializing in data and artificial intelligence(AI), announced that Hyundai Motor Group is implementing a cloud security visibility project using Wiz(www.wiz.io), with support from Cloocus.

As Hyundai Motor Group continues to expand its multi- and hybrid-cloud environments, it has been strengthening its security management framework. A key focus of the initiative is to improve previously fragmented security operations by making existing security visibility more intuitive, while automating the process from vulnerability detection to remediation to enable faster and more effective responses. 

To address these challenges, the Group identified the need to advance beyond conventional integrated management of security policies, assets, and vulnerabilities, toward an intelligent security management framework capable of automatically identifying potential attack paths and responding immediately based on consistent policies. As part of this effort, Hyundai Motor Group adopted Wiz to further enhance visibility across its cloud environments and establish a comprehensive, always-on public cloud security management system.

Wiz is a global agentless cloud security platform that provides a unified view of cloud assets, security configurations, vulnerabilities, attack paths across multi-cloud environments on the Wiz Security Graph without the need for agent installation.

The platform provides a unified view of cloud assets, security configurations, vulnerabilities, and attack paths through a single interface, allowing security teams to prioritize risks from an enterprise-wide perspective. Wiz is widely recognized as a solution well suited for large-scale enterprise environments, and with the launch of its local data center in Korea last year, it now offers Korean enterprises a more secure foundation for leveraging cloud and AI technologies.

This project is being carried out in phases, beginning with preliminary preparation and environment analysis, followed by Wiz onboarding and initial environment configuration, security policy design, and stabilization of the operating environment.

Cloocus supports the implementation of Wiz by designing the scope of deployment based on the customer`s existing security policies and operational structure and by providing cloud security consulting and technical support focused on initial adoption and policy design. Through this approach, Cloocus helps establish consistent standards for managing key security elements – including policies, assets, vulnerabilities, and attack paths – enabling security teams to effectively utilize Wiz in real-world operational environments and strengthen overall security visibility and governance.
